Pauletta has been a life-saver for our family. My 77-year-old sister, who lives in Winston-Salem, developed sudden and debilitating memory loss after suffering from a TIA in December of 2025. Overnight, she went from being able to run her life to not being able to remember what she did or said five minutes ago. After receiving very concerning phone calls from her, and realizing she had no clue how to take care of herself, her house, her money, etc., my husband and I drove up from Florida. Our intent was to set up a short-term safety net for her until we knew how long-lasting this condition was going to be. Our first meeting was with Salemtowne staff to explain my sister's needs and get advice. They recommended, for starters, that we reach out to Pauletta to help us through this very difficult time.

Pauletta's background in occupational therapy and the corporate world, her connections within the medical communities in Winston-Salem, and her techy abilities made her a perfect match for everything we needed. She is so gentle and consoling when my sister gets confused or upset at not being able to remember something. Yet, she is a go-getter when it comes to getting new doctor appointments set up or finding doctors with more expertise. Pauletta is unwilling to give up despite challenges, and that has been a huge benefit in helping us get my sister's life back on track.  Pauletta anticipates problems before they happen, which is such a wonderful help. Trying to figure out in advance what could possibly go wrong is exhausting and I truly appreciate Pauletta taking some of that burden off me. We make a great tag team.

My husband and I had to return home after two weeks, but we've contracted Pauletta indefinitely to manage a lot of my sister's daily household functions, coordinate her calendar, take my sister to her doctor appointments and keep in touch with us. My wife died last July. Since I was 89 years old and did not drive a car, I needed help. Salemtowne’s Navigation At Home staff recommended Pauletta Warfford of Bridgewell Concierge to me. So, since August 2025 Pauletta has given me regular assistance, at least twice a week. I quickly came to appreciate her pleasant manner and lively personality. She is a careful driver and carries me comfortably to the grocery store and on a variety of other appointments and errands. Pauletta’s basic life skills have been a real help to me (I’m an absent-minded, unworldly academic) Of special help has been her computer smarts, enabling me to navigate complex tasks. "Recently, our family found itself in a challenging position when my wife’s sister, who I will refer to as Kathy for the purpose of this testimonial, developed severe cognitive impairment. She lives in Winston-Salem. We live in Florida. Pauletta has proven to be an absolute blessing. She works closely with my wife on medical-related matters, handling everything from  managing digital calendar to be shared with family, scheduling doctor appointments, and other miscellaneous tasks, and errands.

Pauletta and the Bridgewell staff work closely with me on administrative matters. They are extremely competent and efficient with monitoring mail, paying bills, and monitoring bank activity. They have been instrumental at setting up processes for administrative purposes in order to prevent things from “slipping through the cracks” and to prevent Kathy from being taken advantage of by scammers.

In order to protect Kathy’s estate, we had to create a new suite of documents. Pauletta effectively coordinated getting all parties to sign the documents, which may sound basic. However, it involved coordinating my wife and me in Florida, an attorney in Pittsburgh, a son in Hawaii, a son in New York, and a Financial Planner in Winston-Salem. Pauletta handled it seamlessly. 

I would summarize by saying Pauletta is a trustworthy lifeline for us in dealing with a very challenging situation in Winston-Salem. WithoutBridgewell, everything would be a mess. With the system the Bridgewell team has put in place everything runs great. As for my personal assessment, Pauletta is one of the most efficient people I’ve ever worked with.
